We invite you to become a part of our church family and experience the love of Christ through our community. Our church offers a warm and welcoming environment for all who seek to deepen their faith and grow in their relationship with God. Join us for worship, fellowship, and service and discover the richness of Orthodox Christianity.

GATHERINGS

We meet primarily to worship in the Orthodox manner at Sunday Liturgy, after which we have a Pot-luck Fellowship meal followed by a Time of Instruction for inquirers, catechumens, and anyone else who wishes to learn more about the Orthodox Faith.

PARISH SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES

PARISH COUNCIL

works with the Rector to conduct the business of the Church Community. 

CHOIR 

leads the congregation in liturgical worship. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed. BELL-RINGERS are also organized under the choir. Choir also runs an apprenticeship program for children.

PROSPHORA MAKERS

provide the bread for weekly & special services

CHURCH DECORATION 

provides flowers, candles etc. as appropriate for particular services

ALTAR SERVERS

assist the clergy with their liturgical work and keep the altar, iconostasis and candle stands clean and tidy. Junior altar servers in training are under supervision of the adult servers. 

MEALS FOR
HOMEBOUND

prepared and delivered by volunteers to new mothers, those recovering from hospital stays etc. in the parish.

FELLOWSHIP

Men's and women's gatherings take place occasionally on site at the church or in the homes of various parishioners. Paschal picnic at the church and an annual barbecue at a parishioner's home are for all ages.  We welcome members and visitors to all these events. 

READERS

are under the direction of the priest and deacon to read the epistle and chant verses. The readers’ schedule is prepared by the Choir director

DIAKONIA CHARITY

(Greek for "service") Collections are made every Sunday for the food bank in the basket in the prosthesis chapel at the front of the church, and taken to the food bank afterward. Needed items for the homeless are collected in the bin in the narthex

CHURCH SCHOOL

runs during Matins. Several times a year there are all-day Saturday events as well. Church school has also put on a Nativity play and prepared Christmas shoeboxes for overseas charities.
